  • What services do you offer?
    Woof Hoof Mew offers drop-in visits, overnight visits, walks, adventure hikes and farm care visits. Please refer to our Services page for more details.
  • Do you offer Boarding?
    At this time we do not offer boarding for dogs or cats.
  • Why should I hire a pet sitter from Woof Hoof Mew?
    This is simple! Because our pet care professionals are awesome! Woof Hoof Mew is a network of local pet sitters that have a vast amount of experience servicing all types of pets. You can rest assured that you are dealing with a truly professional, compassionate & communicative company. Our sitters will treat your pets and home with the utmost care and concern. Additionally, Woof Hoof Mew is bonded and insured and all of the sitters in our network are certified in Pet CPR and First Aid as well as background checked.
  • What kind of animals do you care for?
    All animals including, but not limited to: dogs, cats, horses, goats, tiny dinosaurs aka chickens & ducks, reptiles, cows, fish, turtles, lobsters, hamsters, birds, alpacas, etc.
  • Will I have the same pet sitter each time?
    We try our very best to accommodate visits with the same pet sitter each time. WHM fills requests on a first-come-first-serve basis so it depends on the sitter availability at the time of your request. In addition, it is standard for at least one backup sitter to be assigned to your household. We do this so that you don't have to search for sitters outside of our network if your regular sitter is already booked as well as to have an emergency backup in case of illness, weather disturbances, unforseen comets or zombie apocalypse events, etc.
  • What do you do in the case of an emergency?
    In the case of an emergency with your pet, we will immediately contact your vet and transport them to the proper facility, if necessary. We will also reach out to you with the contact information you provided. If there is ever an emergency with your home, we will call you and emergency contacts you provide, authorities if needed, and/or a preferred repair service. Should there be an alien invasion, we will hide under the covers with your pets so that they feel safe and secure.
  • Do the pet sitters administer medications?
    Absolutely! Supplements and veterinarian prescribed medications can be administered including powders, creams, pills, drops, IV fluids and injections. Please let us know in advance so that we can confirm the sitter's comfort with the administration techniques. Additional fees are assessed depending on the types of medication administration needed.
  • Do you provide references?
    Yes! References will be provided upon request as we need to confirm with clients before releasing their information. In addition, please be sure to check our reviews on Google, Yelp, Facebook and Nextdoor!   • What type of software do you use for client invoicing, communication, pet details and reservation requests?
    We use the best in the business! Time to Pet is an all encompassing Client Portal for pet care providers. We will send you an invitation to set up your account after our initial discussion about your needs as a client. Once you activate your account, please download the client app to your smartphone (Time to Pet) is available for both android and apple phones. You will love this feature of our stellar service!
  • Is my personal information safe?
    Yes! Woof Hoof Mew only shares your information on a need to know basis within our Network. The owner of the company, administration personnel and only the sitters that you personally approve of will have the ability to see your portal. As for the software company, Time to Pet's 128-bit encryption is the same level of encryption banks use. Their physical servers are located in a secure facility with 365x24x7 manned security. They are in what is considered a "Disaster Neutral Zone" of the United States (meaning there is a minimal probability of a natural disaster).
  • How far in advance should I book reservations?
    Reservations should be submitted via our Time To Pet client portal as soon as possible. We tend to fill up quickly especially during the holidays.
  • Do you take last minute reservations?
    If you are in need of a last-minute reservation, we will work hard to accommodate your needs, but can only do so based on availability. If you are unable to book a last minute reservation through the Client Portal because of the time constraint, please call or text us at 720-744-3669 for your request.
  • How do payments work?
    Payments are made using our Time to Pet client portal. An invoice will be sent to the email you provide. We accept credit cards and ACH transfers via the client portal. We also accept cash or checks in limited cases.
  • May I give my pet sitter a tip?
    Absolutely! They will love you for it! Our sitters work hard and drive far for their beloved clients. Your tips are always appreciated. You can leave cash for them at your home or you can add it at the time of payment through the Client Portal invoice system. Your sitters recieve 100% of the tips you leave them.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Any walking/yard time appointments that are cancelled within 12 hours of the scheduled time will be charged for the full reservation price. Any Drop-in Vacation Visits or Overnight Care reservations cancelled within 3 days of the scheduled reservation time will be charged for the full reservation price. If it is a holiday reservation, any cancellation within 7 days will be charged the full reservation price. We understand that circumstances may change, but please be mindful of this policy as it allows us to accommodate other clients effectively and assure work is available for our pet sitters. In addition, please always communicate with us about circumstances beyond your control. We understand that illness and loss of loved ones require a tender touch.
