Why I Started Woof Hoof Mew (And What Drives Our Team)

Woof Hoof Mew was never meant to be “just” a pet sitting company.

I created it from a simple concept: our animals and their people deserve thoughtful, loving, compassionate care from people who truly understand responsibility. When I started this business here in the Conifer and Evergreen mountain communities, I saw a need for something more structured — a team-based model built on professionalism, accountability, trust, and heart.

Not just someone stopping by. A system that protects pets and supports families.

We are invited into homes during vulnerable moments — vacations, emergencies, long workdays, health challenges, life transitions. When someone gives us access to their homes, they are placing trust in us, not just hiring a service.

We care about the emotional wellbeing of every animal in our care. We notice subtle changes in behavior. We adjust to personality and energy. We move gently with seniors. We sit patiently with anxious pets. We celebrate the joyful, goofy, adventurous ones too.
